Luuk van Dijk returns to Solid Grooves as he brings his three-track ‘Da Beat’ EP to sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw.

A key fixture amongst Amsterdam’s ever-evolving house scene, Luuk Van Dijk has quickly become a favourite producer for a host of the industry’s biggest names, with notable support from Solid Grooves Records co-founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi leading to a debut outing on the label with his ‘Doesn’t Care’ EP earlier this year. Following on from the EP’s release and his recent appearance for the brand in Ibiza, here we see him return to deliver the three-track ‘Da Beat’ EP on sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw in the midst of September.

Kicking things off, ‘Da Beat’ offers up a driving, up-front club driven production as skipping hats work alongside punchy kicks and looped female vocal samples throughout, whilst ‘Elektronate’ harnesses off-kilter arpeggios and driving low-end tones to up the energy levels. Last up, ‘Upside Down’ welcomes warping stabs worked amongst regimented rolling percussion loops and further twisted vox hooks to conclude the package in style.
